What SpendNote is

SpendNote is a petty cash app for small teams that still handle physical cash. Every time cash changes hands, you record it in seconds — amount, purpose, who gave it, who received it, which cash box — and SpendNote gives you a numbered receipt to print in two copies or save as a PDF.

Each cash box keeps a live running balance, every entry shows who recorded it, and the whole team works from the same data on a phone, tablet or computer. At month-end, the transactions export to CSV or PDF for your bookkeeper.

Why we built it

Plenty of small businesses, crews, clubs and offices still move cash between people every day. The usual tools for that are a carbon receipt book and a spreadsheet that nobody keeps up to date. When the drawer comes up short, nobody can say who had the cash last.

SpendNote is built around that one moment: cash leaving one person's hand and arriving in another's. Make it take seconds to record, give both sides a receipt, and keep the balance visible to the whole team.

Free tools

Need a single receipt right now? The free cash receipt maker works without an account: fill in the form, then print two copies or save a PDF.

SpendNote is for internal cash tracking and receipts. It is not accounting, tax or payroll software, and its receipts are proof of a cash handoff, not invoices or tax documents.
